How Will This Work?
We are committed to making the transition as smooth as possible. We understand how stressful change can be, so our goal is to make this a simple and easy switch with as little inconvenience to you as possible. Here’s what to expect today:
- Payment: We want to make this transition as easy as possible for you! We will continue billing on your anniversary date for now. We will move to first of the month billing on September 1 and you will receive further communication about this transition.
- A 2% processing fee applies to payments made with a credit card
- We offer fee-free payment options including ACH and Visa/MC co-branded debit cards.
- You can create a Morningstar account and sign up for autopay at morningstarstorage.com/make-a-payment.
- Insurance: If you are currently enrolled in the Customer Protection Plan insurance program, we will need to migrate you to our carrier (SBOA). SBOA offers the following plans
- $2,000 coverage at $14/month
- $3,000 coverage at $19/month
- $5,000 coverage at $27/month
Please be sure to update your payments according to your new plan. Please click here to view the insurance certificate.
- Lease: We will migrate your lease with ExtraSpace Storage to ours, effective on November 1, 2026. Please be sure to read the terms of this lease. No further action is required on your part. If you or your spouse is active-duty military, reserves, national guard, Public Health Service commission officers, or NOAA commissioned officers, please notify the office immediately & complete the SCRA Addendum and return to the office.
